While we were in Salento we saw a Documentary being produced by a coffee company from Vancover, British Colombia, "Nabob" coffee. It should be fun catching the video on their website. The man in the middle picture is, Fairo Arios, a really nice guy who I got to be friends with. I met him on my first day in Salento while looking for a place to stay, saw him everyday and we always exchanged greetings.

Above is a picture of the Hostel we stayed at, "Estrella de Agua." Also photos of the film crew from Nabob Coffee who were filming a documentary in our neighborhood.

In the street scene above in Salento at the end of the street you can see a hill, there are 228 steps to the top. Very nice views of the city and surrounding area.

There were some bikes for hire at our Hostel but I never rode one, they weren't the best bikes, and the town was full of hills, good hills. I also got a kick out of all the old "Renault" vehicles, Renault seems to have been in Colombia for quite some time, some really neat vehicles.

Souvenir shop next to main Church, the town square in Salento and a nifty latch on my window at the hostel.

mrbill in Armenia waiting on a bus to Medellin, wrapping up another great trip.
