Rain, Rain and more rain, I may ride indoors today, then I'm going to start work on the Ark.
I finished reading "On the Beach" and "A Town Like Alice" by Nevile Schute, I really enjoyed both.

I took a ride to town today and a couple of things happened.
First, about 3 miles into my ride a new dog appears, a big boy and he's full of energy. I didn't bring my horn or my pepper spray so I dismount and start looking for rocks while he's on the other side of my bike looking hungry. Then the dog owner appears in the yard and proceeds to call the dog and then to my surprise, he actually apologizes, that may be a first.
I made it to town and then head back to the house, about halfway home I look in my mirror and I see this truck coming up behind me and he's not getting over, then while I'm watching him he actually crosses the white line on my side and gets in the gravel for a minute, I bail and roll halfway down the ditch on the right side. I stand there and look at the truck and even after it passed me it runs off the road again. I notice the truck is my Drunk neighbor, probably drunk and I realize this could have been bad. What to do, just about anything I do will come to no good so I just tell myself that the experience was a reminder for me to keep an eye out. It shouldn't be long until this will no longer be a problem cause my neighbors liver is playing out and I suspect he won't last the year, Alcohol is a bad one.
I've checked the route to town on my new Fit Bit Watch, 16 miles with 860 ft elev gain so I get a pretty good workout just to town and back.
