Come on out and join me on a scenic ride on the backroads of Cass and Marion Counties.
The ride will begin at the Cass County Courthouse in Linden at 8:30am.
We will take the backroads to the Marion County Courthouse in Jefferson, TX.
We will have a rest stop at the town park in Jefferson, TX., treats will be provided for those who let me know they plan to ride, so please contact me prior to the ride if you plan on making it.
If your significant other would like to join you in Jefferson, a good time will be had at the park, bring kids or grandkids.
Also their will be a city wide garage sale on this day, this should interest some folks.
Basically this is like a training ride, you will be responsible for yourself, but I will have a Vehicle for support and it will get you back to Linden if you have problems.
This ride is not for those who haven't been training, it is approximately 46 miles and it is up and down, the climbs aren't long but they are challenging.
The roads are blacktop with some bumps and holes, but not as bad as "Paris/Roubaix", I haven't found it a problem in 6 yrs of riding this ride.
Like I said this is like a training ride, no cost and no goodies, maybe a free T-Shirt, but I make no promises, except, that you will like this ride.
