Windy

A front coming thru meant some strong winds today. Luckily I was heading North South and the winds were from the West, so at least I didn't have headwinds. I just rode to town and back, it was enough with the wind.

Yesterday Jerry and I had a fun day riding from Linden to Jefferson on the backroads by way of Lacy's Bridge.

Well summer is over and we've had our first snow, light but it was snow.

We've now had our killing frost, about 25 degrees and all of this has messed with my biking a bit but I did get out today for a ride with Jerry and Roger.

We rode the Linden, Kildare, Bivins loop so I got in 40 miles for the day for the first time in awhile, really an enjoyable ride, perfect weather.

In the reading department I just finished "Driving Over Lemons" by Chris Stewart, a light fun read, takes place in Southern Spain. I really enjoyed this book because I do find this part of the world very interesting.
I'm now reading "South From Granada" by Gerald Brenan, this book is also about Southern Spain and a bit more factual than my previous read, If you have an interest in Southern Spain you'll also like this book.
