I've had a lot of fun this year with my plants, I really need to do a page with some of my photos, one in particular, the Passion Flower, maybe I'll get around to it.

Today I'm posting pics of my Reaper peppers as I dry and grind them to make a lifetime supply of Reaper Powder, a little bit goes a long way. For those of you who don't know the Carolina Reaper is the hottest officially recorded pepper.

A beautiful Carolina Reaper with Stinger

Peppers cut in half to dry, gloves are mandatory when working with Reapers. I started drying in the Sun but was to lengthy so finished them in the oven, works fine.

Purchased this Grinder and it did a fine job.

Lifetime supply of Reaper Powder, 3 bottles total and theres still peppers coming.

What a beautiful day for a bike ride, full sun, 70 degF, light NW wind. Today was our Stamps, AR . ride, starting in Stamps, to Buckner, Waldo and then back to Stamps, 35 miles.
Jerry, Roger and myself were joined by Brent and Mary Francis.
We had good roads, light traffic, all in all a Good Ride and a Good Day.
Mary Francis was our pace setter and her pace was blazing, the most determined rider I've ever met.

Today was a damp, warm and humid day, my morning ride was nasty, little fun. I took a can of Vienna Sausages for the dogs that someone dumped on my backroad to town. It's really sad that ignorant people do this, these dogs home is now a patch of dirt on the side of the road, I'll keep feeding them, just can't ride by them knowing their starving.

I finished my book, "Journey to Munich", really enjoyed it. Like I said I took the train from Mainz to Munich when I was in the service. The train ride started out good when two German gals got on and joined me in my cabin, we starting visiting and were having a good time, then the train stops in Ulm and a lady get on and proceeds to enter our cabin, the party was over. This lady was a Jehovah Witness and if you've ever been accosted by these people you know what I mean by the party was over. She went on and on and we were obviously not interested but she wouldn't quit. I was also accosted by these people on a train in Japan, I've decided that from now on I won't listen to their twisted view of religion and all their bullshit, no more. I've always believed that we witness by our actions not by brow beating someone. End of Lecture.

We are having a cold front pass thru Friday and it will cool things down considerably, it should be nice for our ride in Stamps, AR on Saturday, just a little breezy out of the north but hopefully the trees will help shelter us a bit.

If this doesn't make you smile, check your pulse

I managed to get out in the morning for my regular loop to town, 16 miles. Our weather at present is cloudy with a bit of sun and some sprinkles on and off. After my ride I had my usual day of walking the dogs and reading and doing a few chores around the casa.

I'm reading a good book titled "Journey to Berlin" by Jacqueline Winspear, really enjoying it. The story takes place in Nazi Germany in 1938, not necessarily a good place to be. it was kind of neat that the main character took the train to Munich, thru Stuttgart, I made the same trip, massive train station in Munich.

Went for a ride today with Jerry and Roger, we did Jerrys usual 10 mile loop and ended up at the Fuel Center for coffee time. It wanted to rain but could only manage a steady sprinkle, was fine just damp.
Had a good visit at the Fuel Center everyone was there.

On Friday the 8th Jerry, Roger and I went to Mer Rouge, LA for a ride, Jerrys home town. I planned a route and it went fine.
